We are surprised that there are sometimes such bad reviews. But experiences are individual. We were there today and were treated quickly, friendly and competently. As a normal cash patient, only the usual forms had to be filled out. Was a small intervention (sea urchin), everything was very good!
Good attention and service.
They do not pick up the phone, impossible to contact to request an appointment to do X-rays
I have had to go several times in summer to spend the summer near there and I have never liked the emergency care, not the pediatric consultation that I used in the day and I loved it.I still think that if you have the possibility you can go to Palma and they serve you much better.Just yesterday I ran into a listless, listless doctor and an unsympathetic receptionist in the ER. This would not matter to me if they had solved the problem for me, but not only did they not do it, but they questioned that I had it and sent me to Palma where in quirón palma planas they treated me between yesterday in the emergency room and today in consultations divinely and they solved me the problem.
Many thanks to the excellent health team of the hospital, unfortunately I recently had to use their services, but I felt in good hands from the first minute: professional, fastest possible help with severe pain, with great prudence in "Corona times" ( So don't worry, ask this hospital for help, everything is very well structured), with enough time to explain everything to me and to let me know after my stay in the hospital that I can go on healthy! very friendly, very human, not a completely new building, but "clean" for a hospital, the food when I was finally allowed to eat again 😉 varied and tasty, I was very lucky!
Telephone attention to disastrous external consultations,
I had a heart attack on May 7th 2001.Everone at the hospital were absolutely amazing and without their superb care..I dont think I would be here. I was sent to Palma to have 2 stents, then back to Muro to be nursed some more..Eventually I was allowed back to England with my husband to fully recuperate. We will never be able to thank them enough..
From my experience in several specialties, the attention of the staff is usually good. But the appointment times are not realistic. Prepare to wait 1h minimum.Waiting lists for an appointment of some specialties can be long (6 weeks or more). The medical equipment (like some ultrasound) seems to me old or very basic if you compare them with public hospitals such as Inca's.
Rip off! 320 Euros for two staples. Don't ever go there
My wife was there today because of back problems and could not walk. We were very satisfied and helped us a lot. Thanks again saved holidays.
Wonderful hospital. It certainly depends on their own insurance, but we were super fast and friendly helped.Competent staff, German speaking sisters, everything reasonably expired as you know it from home.
The horror hospitalAnyone who gets sick in Alcudia or the surrounding area should avoid this hospital!Mockery, bad care for unwarranted amount of money.Positive: Pediatrician speaks German. A few sisters speak German. There is free and fast WiFi.Neutral: Other doctors speak good English.Negative: Most of the sisters are incompetent, arrogant, rude and do not even speak broken English (I presume wanted, otherwise they would have to deal with the patient). Ambience of the station. Food for the patient (Old hard rolls, sausage already started, cold lunch.). No catering for the accompanying person. The invoice.
the doctors are very friendly, I can not say anything bad about them and that is that I go to several ... but the nurses are horrible, bad treatment, bad manners, always with a bad face ... I do not understand the truth as they can allow this! I go because I have it close and by doctors who are well ...
Great hospital. The staff was very accommodating and professional. We hardly had to wait. Everyone was adorable to my 3 1/2 year old daughter, also mentally supported me and tried to relieve her (and me) of the stay despite taking blood and CT. There were staff who speaks German and / or English as well as interpreters and for the treatment our German health insurance was accepted. Highly recommended.
An hour waiting in EMERGENCIES with a girl bleeding.
Attention, total rip-off to bad care. I can only urge you to go to another hospital. Equipment, competence and care are not worthy private hospital. I think you are better off in a public hospital. The staff tries to keep overseas tourists overnight, even if all values are ok.There is hardly any information, so you do not know if and when you will be looked after. First, wait 3 hours in the emergency room, without information, what came out in the investigation. Although the doctor and we spoke English (my partner even had a bit of Spanish), you obviously waited for the translator who was not needed after all. In the room for 7 hours no care or information except for short blood pressure. Of course, one always thinks, that will come, and wait patiently. At 9 pm I asked for a nightgown and washcloths in the corridor. Apparently it was not thought necessary to get a new patient here. I do not have to mention that during the day you did not inquire about my condition. It was better only in the night with the night watch. However, if one has asked how it goes on (because you had zero information), it said: The doctor will decide tomorrow. - when does he come? - Tomorrow, but we do not know when. You feel helpless, cheated, poorly cared for.The doctor finally arrived at 13.30 with the information that all values are normal, but I better stay one more night. I insisted on leaving. We are still waiting for the exit at 16:35, which was scheduled for the morning ...For information: was there because of severe diarrhea during early pregnancy here, after 24 hours without food and drinks, I have insisted on a first light diet. There were beans and breaded schnitzel with seafood paella.Judge for yourself ...
Seen quickly and night doctor good. Paper work for agreeing to pay the costs almost immediately prepared So far appears efficient Told to stay for night to observe, and would be seen by a doc 10am 10am woman comes in to sign more paper work for billing, and advised we would be going soon. My insurance company rang me 10.20am to tell me I had been discharged. No doc until Approx 15.30 after chasing all afternoon. Still here 5pm. Asked nicely everytine but still jyst waiting. We grumble about our NHS but this is worse, and it's private with a self paying bill of at least a £1000
Clean, inviting and unfortunately very well hidden.
