Visas

Tourists are advised to check the visa policy to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand. Nationals from 76 countries including, Australia, Brazil, Singapore, the United Kingdom, and the United States can stay in Thailand for up to 90 days. Other nationals, such as China and India, need to apply for a visa on arrival.

Weather

Thailand enjoys a tropical climate, which means it is hot and humid throughout the year. The average temperatures are around 28 °C to 35 °C. The wet season starts in July and ends in October, tourists can expect heavy rainfall and humid weather during this season. The cool season which begins in November until February experiences less rain and the temperatures are below 35 °C. March to June is the hot season, be aware that the temperature can soar to 40 °C during these months.

  2. Money & Payments: ATMs that accept international cards are widespread. Credit cards are accepted in many established restaurants and hotels. However, it is best to always carry some cash. Tipping is common but not expected.
