Visas

Unless you are a citizen of Nepal or Bhutan, you will need to obtain a visa to enter India. A Visa on arrival is available for citizens of Japan and South Korea. e-Visa is available for 150 nationalities and valid for 60 days.

Weather

India has four climatological seasons. Summer or pre-monsoon is from March to May, with April and May as the hottest months. Monsoon or the rainy season lasts from June to September and experiences many rainy days. Post-monsoon or autumn starts in October and ends in November, it is usually sunny during this season. Winter is from December to February and has an average temperature of around 10°C to 15°C.
