Horrible experience, after surgery (lipo and bbl) dr. Castaneda showed up to my room only once to check up on me, he couldn’t say how much fat he was able to transfer. After surgery I didn’t really see much of a difference, but the told me to wait 6 months to see the final results. The only thing I see is bumps in my stomach, very uneven and no difference on my butt at all. After surgery I was in a room with another woman that got the same procedure, I remember hearing her saying the price she got for the surgery and it was a lot less then what they charged me and she was a bigger person. Please don’t spend your money here, look and research for a good surgeon or you can end up worse.

Dr. Quiroz is the Best! Over the course of 30 years, he has been my surgeon for multiple procedures. I had great results every time.I "trust" my life in his hands. He is honest, frank, and will tell you the way it is.All the staff, from the reception, nurses, and surgery staff are very friendly and the facilities are immaculate .I travel from Canada to Tijuana, Mexico and it is so easy and hassle free. CosMed/Vida arranges for your pick-up at the San Diego Airport and transports you right to the facility. After surgery you stay on-site at the Recovery Boutique and when you are ready to go home they transport you back to the airport. Very simple. It's actually easier than dealing with the medical system in Canada.I have seen CosMed grow from inception and it is definitely a top notch facility. I would never even consider going anywhere else.Deanne

A lot of my friends have been to Cosmed, and i couldn't believe the good results, so I went for my first visit and i was amazed of Dr Quiroz knowledge , i did my BBL there and I am very happy with the results. I definitely recommend this place.

I had a wonderful experience in May 2019 at Cosmed in Tijuana. The doctors, nurses and facilities are wonderful, comparable to any in the U.S. - and I could not have received better care anywhere! The work that they did was magnificent (surgeon that I followed up with at Kaiser Permanente agreed and said the work was excellent). I felt very safe and very well taken care of during the entire process in Tijuana.

I had surgery with Dr Quiroz in June 2016. I had a facelift with neck lift, breast lift, augmentation and liposuction. I was nauseous with vomiting the night of my surgery and I remained in recovery overnight with the RN’s giving me Phenergan injections which helped tremendously. The second floor is for pt’s to recuperate. It is locked. Everyone has a safe in their room for your valuables. You put your own code on so no one else has access. It is covered 24/7 by nurses who come in every day to clean and change dressings. I had 3 meals a day plus snacks which I could either eat in my room or go to the dining room. Dr Quiroz did a wonderful job and visited me every day, I was there for 9 days. The only regret I have is that the left side of my face has started to droop a little. My neck still looks fabulous. I wish I had a brow lift during that time and Dr Quiroz did suggest having one. Overall my experience was wonderful. Such dedicated experienced and talented staff. I would do it all over again. I had a procedure done in July 2019 and I am so happy with the results. Dr. Castaneda is amazing. He is so professional. My recovery was quick. Adriana and Denise were so helpful from day one. Adriana his assistant was so professional and walked me through the whole procedure and everything that was said was exactly how it went. I am so happy I did my research and found an amazing Plastic Surgeon. Sometimes going to Mexico may seem sketchy but I can assure you these Doctors know what they are doing. There office is so nice. The operating room was also very nice. Thank you Dr. Castaneda love my new body!!!

My experience has been Wonderfull, Dr Quiroz has done several procedures on me, I am a patient of him for many years, This year I had a surgery in May and I am planning to get another one in October, the facilities are clean, modern and beautiful, he has a great staff, Denisse his coordinator does an amazing job, she is one of the people that as soon as she starts talking she makes you feel confident and safe. I just love this place.

I visited numerous Drs in Tijuana and the states, i made my research and I got to Cosmed Clinic and asked for Dr Quiroz we started with simple procedures like botox and fillers and the years went by and I decided to give it a chance for surgery, the results are beyond my expectations. Dr. Quiroz is an exceptionally gifted plastic surgeon & his cutting-edge expertise is undeniable. He pays careful attention to his patient’s desired results/concerns & executes that vision to perfection with superior craftsmanship. I was recommended to Dr Quiroz by a close friend in Orange County, California who assured me that not only was Dr Quiroz the best at what he does, but that having surgery in Tijuana was safe, easily accessible, cost-effective & offered cutting-edge European products not yet offered in the US. Dr Quiroz has performed my breast augmentation surgery twice 13 years apart... my 1st surgery was silicone implants was in 2006 & the final results far exceeded my expectations to perfection. So much so, that I delayed replacing my silicone implants after 10 years anxious that now in my 40s my breasts wouldn’t come out as perfect the second time around. Then finally this year in 2019, Dr. Quiroz performed my 2nd breast augmentation surgery (capsulectomy removal & upgrade to newer silicone product). I am absolutely amazed at the results!!... My breasts are even more perfect now than before, which I did not think was even possible!! The tiny old areola half-moon scars are gone & new areola scars are barely visible after 2 months (& will probably be invisible in a year), the new silicone implants look & feel even more natural, & most importantly the shape & size is the same as before! Plus, the staff at Cosmed was amazing during the surgery process from clarifying all the details before surgery to the day of surgery US/Mexico border shuttle service to anesthesia/surgery & the post-surgery follow-up weekly calls to make sure I was healing well & answer any questions I may have. If you are considering plastic surgery, I want to personally assure you that if you choose Dr. Quiroz at Cosmed/Vida Wellness & Beauty Tijuana, you are in the best care & will be amazed at the final results!

I recently had multiple procedures (face and neck lift, arm lift, and blepharloplasty) done with Dr Fuentes... I can not say enough good things about my experience! My outcome is awesome, I am so pleased!I admit I was a little hesitant about going to Mexico for the work I had done-- but it turned out --awesome! The facility is pristine clean, and have so many accreditations- American and Mexican- -you can see for yourself online! The staff could not have been greater- especially my girl Yasenia(Dr Fuentes assistant) she is the best- helps you with everything! I will definetly be recommending to everyone I know that wants to go to an awesome Dr and facility to receive beautiful results, clean clean clinic, best staff and not to mention the excellent prices! There is no place in the states you can get all of this!!!!!!

Almost 1 week I was in the operating room of Dr. Castaneda. And since my arrival at the clinic, the operating room, recovery room, spa, until my last day at Recovery Boutique, everyone was very respectful and took care of me extremely well! Thank God and Dr. Castañeda for all their great effort! My husband and I are very happy with my results! I can say I had a spectacular experience!Almost 1 week I was in the operating room of Dr. Castaneda. This is horrible place. I go for stomach lipo 8/2017 he burn my skin i cant go to the beach he leave in my left side a big scar like quater so i go back i ask him what happen why i have the scar luxe like 2 quarter size and very Thick and red and he tell me he dont know so i just go back home. I go 3 days ago 4/3/2019BAJA PLASTIC SURGERY. they really help me very good Doctor they cut the thick scar they ask me who do that. I tell Dr Quiroz from COSMED clinic Tijuana . How I dont know. Dr Quiroz make me face lift too. And baddd job I do nt recommend it. I never write reviews but i pay Dr Quiroz 8300 face and lipo only in 1 area 2600 so i go Baja plastic surgery finally the Dr fix my problem En agost 2017 fui a cosmed clinic con Dr Quiroz y me hiso una lipo en mi stomago en el lado izquierdo me dejo 2 circulos redondos bien gruesos y rojos como piel qemada y vivi aai asta ahora 4/3/2019 qe fui a BAJA PLASTIC SURGERY TIJUANA. Y HABLE CON 2 DOCTORES y me dijeron qe eso era como qe me qemaron la piel quien fue y les dije DrQUIROZ ellos lo conocen . Y tambien les enseńe. Un levantamiento de mejillas qe me hiso Quiroz y no. Ni me levanto nada y los doctores de baja plactic me pusieron unos hilos tensores para ayudar un poco al mal trabajo de dr Quiroz

I am 28 years old and had a hi-def lipo done in June 2019 by the awesome Dr. Castañeda. He is one of the best surgeon's in Mexico! Adriana, the patient coordinator was awesome and followed up every step of the way through my surgery. The ladies in the clinic's recovery room (not the boutique hotel as I did not stay there) were great and very attentive at all times. I can say I am completely satisfied with my procedure after exactly two months post-surgery. I have previously witness three other plastic surgeries in the US and neither compares to the outstanding care and service I received at CosMed Clinic by their great doctor and staff. Dr. Castañeda will definitely by my plastic surgeon for many years to come!
