The care should be better. My mum was in for a few weeks and the night nurses especially agency staff are a concern. My mother was woken up by loud slamming of doors and taking random blood tests while she was sleeping which could have been done in the morning when she woke. The toilets need to be checked more often, on the 4th floor ward someone did a poo on the floor and it wasnt cleaned.

I have been treated in C&W hospital several times (had couple of Surgeries and treatments). It is amazing how staff make you feel and experience. Most Nurses are pleasant and very attentive, making you feel that you are in good hands, even OR and emergency nurses who have very little time with you are memorable for their kindness and reassurance. Drs are very proficient and they make sure that you are included in the discussion of your treatment and make you feel confident that they will do their best to treat you and do their best to find cure for you. All this shows, this place is being managed properly. Keep up the good work and THANK YOU TO THOSE WHO CARED FOR ME. Satisfied customer!Kediga M Ali

Absolut the best hospital, very friendly staff. The NHS worker are doing an outstanding job from the receptionist up to the nurses and the doctor’s. Very impressed also with the aquarium right at the entry. You have inside a costa coffee, restaurant and other options are right outside you got Starbucks, Cote, Subway, Gails and couple more independent stores. If you are wondering why I have gave them only 3 stars. Well, I was shocked when I visited the restroom and found Airjet Hand dryer’s. I thought even they are banned from operations, as they blow and spread bacteria’s and viruses in the air for 20minutes if user has not wash the hands properly. Lots of official videos are online about the mentioned subject. However, in my opinion a hospital should be aware of it, especially due the current COVID-19 seasons.

Went here during lockdown for some blood tests and was impressed how well they organised everything. Felt as safe as you could possibly feel in a hospital during a pandemic. Big thanks to all the staff!

Oh my god is the best hospital in the u.k Customers service amazing more then perfect, my wife she's pregnant and she's was filing not very good I call hospital and them midwife said please bring you wife,my wife when she's coming in the hospital she was just crying 😪😪and after 3 hours oh my God now she's filing excellent , I want to say thank you NHS staff And thank you for all midwife from 3 flor maternity centre,Thank you again a lot 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

I came here after breaking a bone through A&E/Trauma and the care was second to none. I have had great experiences at hospitals in London and this was no different. The staff are very caring and attentive and during my stay there for a week I had excellent care from nursing staff on the orthopedic ward.

Awful experience at the emergency department here. My father was feeling extremely unwell (swollen, red eye, bad headaches) and we took him to the emergency department to be checked. We waited for hours (which isn’t a huge problem given the circumstances) but to be told there’s nothing serious to worry about and only given a cream. They also said that they’ve never seen anything like my father’s condition and yet they didn’t do any further checks and told us to go home. Also, they made several mistakes when taking his blood, it seemed that the nurse was inexperienced.We went to Moorfield Eye Hospital the following day, which was our decision, not recommended by doctors or Chelsea&Westminster Hospital. They looked after him well, but they told us it looked very serious and they did many tests to check. They were very shocked and surprised by our explanation of our terrible experience at Chelsea&Westminster and they couldn’t believe the prescriptions and advice we were given. The whole scenario lasted 24 hours, with constant testing and a transfer between hospitals, and he is now currently in the neurology department in the UCL Hospital and we are still waiting for results.My message for all of this that I have written: do not rely on simply one opinion, insist to hear more explanations and second opinions from other doctors, and don’t let yourself be treated by negligent doctors as we were in Chelsea&Westminster, and I can promise this wasn’t the first time that I experienced something like this (I have had many past incidents with Chelsea&Westminster and their emergency doctors’ constant negligence to me and my family).

Had an endoscopy due to stomach pains could not find issue, however should have been warned of the dangers of alcohol from doctors at the outset! GPs/doctors will never warn you that alcohol is a toxic drug. If you have digestive issues or stomach pain, stop drinking alcohol as even a small amount will cause pancreatitis/liver damage!! GPs/doctors never drink, and if they do only ever 2 drinks throughout their lives, yet a sick patient they will allow to keep drinking despite knowing of the risks of further damage.
