A very unethical clinic.I had a procedure scheduled two months in advance. I drove 8 hours to San Diego a few days before my procedure to be near the border for my procedure date. The clinic called me a day and a half before the procedure and cancelled on me citing health and safety issues related to one of their staff being sick.They didn’t offer to reimburse any of my expenses (gas, hotel, Mexico car insurance) or to offer a discount for rescheduling for a later date. I wouldn’t even expect to be offered these aforementioned things, but the kicker is they didn’t even offer a reschedule date for the procedure whatsoever.Four or five days after the date my procedure, I contacted DHI over Whatsapp and I requested a new procedure date. The only date they offered me was three months out. I kindly requested a sooner date within a month or so considering they had cancelled on me just a day and a half before the procedure which would naturally mean I have priority for rescheduling. I never got a response from DHI. They completely ghosted me. I tried both the DHI Whatsapp contacts that I had communicated with many times prior to my procedure date, and they didn’t respond to me. DHI completely wasted my time and money and set me back on getting a procedure done by months.I have my Whatsapp message exchanges with the DHI staff saved, just in case their management wants to question my review.I don’t trust this clinic, nor should you. There are other clinics in TJ that are better options. Do your research and don’t make the same mistake I made. And keep in mind, I can only speak to their customer service and not the quality of their procedures as I didn’t have a procedure with them. But I believe a company’s customer service is a reflection of the quality of the service they will provide you.

I was really not sure about doing this procedure, I thought it would be painful and complicated, but the attention of the DHI team, the explanation of the process, follow-up, etc., they did it in a very punctual and professional way.What closed my 5-star rating was the attention on the day of my appointment, the group of nurses very attentive to all my questions, but the one who dazzled me with their treatment and professionalism was Dr. Georgina Curiel, who took me step by step In my procedure, it helped me stay calm and go from a nervous day to a pleasant day and in a good mood.I am very grateful for the results 1 year after my treatment, I am a different person, I feel more self-confident and I do not regret having done it.Thank you very much DHI team and especially to Dr. Georgina curiel

I flew in to San Diego from Texas, and crossed the border to Tijuana. My hair transplant happened on July 2019, and 6 months later, its looking great so far today! Let's backtrack a bit. I reached out to DHI over the phone for a consultation, and was greeted by Horacio with DHI Tijuana. He made me feel comfortable about the procedure from start to finish. Yes, he will ask medical questions, so be sure to be honest with these questions. I didn't feel rushed or judged at all with my answers. He cared about my success with the procedure, he took time to explain the procedure and what all it entails and made himself available to answer any questions. When you choose to move forward with the procedure, you are issued a quote for the procedure, with payment instructions. The procedure total was a fraction of what I would have paid in the US. When I booked, I did put down a deposit that will go towards your procedure total. The remainder is paid in person (Yes, they will take USD cash if you choose to, or you can pay with your Credit Card too). You get instructions prior to the procedure and I did have to get labwork done here in the US (at LabCorp) and sent over to the doctor at DHI. After the doctor reviewed it, all is clear, you are set.I flied into San Diego Int'l from Texas. I did not get their transportation service myself so I can't speak for that, I had my own arrangements, and stayed with my friend that lives in Tijuana. On the morning of, I took an Uber (Yes, there is Uber in Tijuana), to the DHI Office, which by the way, it is in the same modern commercial complex as the Cinemex Tijuana and the SRE in case you don't see it in Apple Maps. It is like 3 minutes from the border. The office was professional, modern, high quality and clean, just like any high quality doctor's office in the US.The team there spoke both English and Spanish and they were very caring. I had a breakfast and lunch menu and had quality choices to select. The doctor performing the procedure speaks both English and Spanish. The medical team was very professional, and caring every step of the way.The procedure for me it took around 7 hours, not including the lunch break. The procedure room was clean, and sterile. The staff followed proper healthcare and sterilization standards, just like in the US. When the procedure is finished, I was given post care instructions and a medication list for healing and recovery. The director came out to ensure I was treated well. I highly recommend for you to return the next day for the follow up and cleanup. I do recommend that you do stay in Tijuana for 2 days at least, for the day of the procedure and the day after, for the follow up, so plan accordingly.They schedule a follow up with you at the 2 week mark via Video Call.The only cons is that the results don't appear right away, but that's expected, since it obviously has to heal and the clinic does explain this to you. Give it time, and you will be satisfied.I did take time off from work for 7 days, including procedure day, to give it time to heal enough so that I can look presentable enough at work. Your timeline may be the same or may differ.Fast Forward 6 months, my transplanted hair looks great, you can tell they do quality work here. I highly recommend DHI. Sure, there are other clinics that do similar work in the area, and I called others too before deciding with DHI. Out of all the options, I went with DHI Tijuana, and have zero regrets. Huge kudos to Horacio for ensuring great customer success.

It's been a couple of weeks since my procedure at DHIMexico.I've had 3 procedures in total, the first in Sherman Oaks, CA, the second with the lowest priced "Dr" in Tijuana and my third with Dr. Georgina, Jonathan and the group at DHIMexicoI went to Mexico in an effort to find a lower cost procedure.In California, I was told I received 1600 FUT transplants for $4500.00. It took 2 assistants about 3 hours to do the procedure after the doctor did the extractions and incisions to my scalp. For the 3 hours he talked the whole time about how other doctors don't consider him a real health care physician but he didn't care because the money was good.In my second experience, going to TJ, I felt I was totally taken advantage of. The size of the hair sample removed proved later to be much smaller than the doctor had promised. When he later said I had nearly 4000 grafts done, in about 7 hours by a single assistant, I did not believe him. I had him put some grafts into my beard. I counted 60 and he told me he placed over 100. He also had one side of my hair line nearly 1/2 inch higher that the other side. I've read other reviews where he did this to other patients. I believe he does this deliberately so the patient will have to come back to him for another visit. His price was $2000.00. About 25% of the grafts did not survive.DHI was a totally different experience than I had ever had before. Dr. Georgina is a person of high quality and character. She straightened out my hairline and was meticulous in her artistic approach. We had a marathon day utilizing their time in the most efficient manner, stopping only to provide me with a nice lunch around noon. I think we ended the session around 8:00 pm.The DHI approach is a single strand relocation method which is healing much faster than the other procedures I had. Normally there is a dormant stage before the hair begins to grow, but mine appear to be growing already.The single strand also allows Dr. Georgina to be more precise in her placement(s).The price was in the median range of the doctors in Tijuana. As I try to be as frugal as possible, I was hesitant to go the DHI route. But now, I am so very happy that I did.For professionalism in the operating room, for the high quality of staff, for Dr. Georgina's demeanor and for Jonathan's managerial competencies, i could not be more happy.And I can not recommend them highly enough.Oct. 11, 2019I received the following message. I've not received any supportive updates from my previous treatment providers...Hello RICK,It's been 3 months since your hair restoration at DHI México. Time to get excited!If it hasn’t started yet, the regrowth of your hair will begin shortly and will intensify in the upcoming months. I traveled from Guadalupe California to the DHI clinic and it has been a unique experience. the staff is very friendly from the first moment. and they are very careful when doing the procedure. and it doesn't hurt for anything !!! :)

Very professional. Well designed facility, convenient location close to the border, within walking distance or 3-minute Uber. I just had my first PRP treatment and afterwards decided to buy the 6-treatment package. Adrian the nurse was very gentle and careful with everything he did. Johnathan the manager explained the procedure and gave me local restaurant recommendations (ceviche is my favorite). Mariel the office administrator was friendly and helpful. I'm looking forward to working with this team to make my hair thick again.

Im from Los Angeles and was so happy to have my Fue procedure last week with Dr. Georgina Curiel at DHI Mexico! Dr. Curiel is a fantastic surgeon and worked on me herself for about 8 hours. The procedure is mostly comfortable with slight pain at times and the doctor is very gentle and really nice. I got a foot massage and watched several movies during the procedure. The entire staff is very professional and friendly, the clinic is nice and really clean.Just one week after my procedure, I already look great!!!Special Thanks to Christian Lopez for organizing my two night stay in Tijuana! He took care of everything and kept all his promises, Christian is honest , reliable and makes you feel very comfortable. The shrimp tacos for lunch we’re great! Thank you Christian! I highly recommend this clinic and I’m willing to talk to anyone about it. I was very nervous before this procedure and it all worked out great. I am very happy!Jonathan Janfaza

I was looking for a hair transplant clinic in Tijuana because I knew that it would be cheaper than in the USA. Fortunately I found DHI Tijuana where Dr. Georgina and her staff did an excellent work! I love my natural looking results. The clinic is super equipped and modern, everyone was very friendly. Strongly recommended!
