In July 2020, after an examination byDr. Chayet office I was told that I was not the right candidate for Lasik surgery. The doctor said he would only agree to lens replacement and not Lasik. The cost for Lasik for both eyes was $2085.00 and the cost for lens replacement would have been $7700.00 almost 4 times as much. The cost for lens replacement in US is approximately $7000.00 for both eyes. When I asked him why I am not a good cadidate for Lasik he said his decision was not made based on his opinion but on facts after looking at the result of my exam.I question his integrity and found him not to be truthful since he was very interested in my financials and what I did for living. I shared with him that I would like to get second opinion. I immediately made an appt with one of the most reputable doctors in San Diego. After complete examination the doctor informed me that I was a perfect candidate. I had my surgery on August 7th. I am extremely happy with result. I talked to Dr.Chayet on Thursday August 6th to let him know that in my opinion he is only in business of making money rather than helping patients. He stated that decisions are made based on opinion by each doctor; which is in contrast to what he had told me previusly.The exam in US was a lot more detailed.The post visit and care after the surgery is much better than what he was offering. I have one year guarantee through my doctor to make sure I am healed properly and happy. If I need another surgery to correct my vision it will be done at no extra cost. I recommend to get other opinions than Dr. Chayet!

Codet vision institute staff were easy to work with, professional, caring, and it was overall a great experience. I would highly recommend anyone interested in doing Lasik to visit this clinic. It’s so great having 20/20 vision!

Got intralasik the same day I got approved as a Lasik candidate... DR. Pinkus & Staff where fabulous.... I have my wife ready for HER check up soon... a place That changed my life (I can see!!) 20/20 vision now... best decision and Dr Ever. Don’t think twice. They have better machines than in SD, TOP OF THE LINE TECHNOLOGY & Training....And helpful smiles makes it all painless (literally) .

They don't operate for PRESBICIA, it's a lie .. they just want you to pay the $ 68 dlls for the consultation. Dr. Chayet told me that I was not a candidate for LASIK, since I have good eyesight to see from afar, so he opted to prescribe PROGRESSIVE LENSES, but it is precisely what I want to stop wearing glasses.

From the first call to make an appointment it has been a great experience, very friendly staff, clear information, very professional and friendly medical team. Excellent work by Dr Arturo Chayet and Dr Luis Cuenca, intraocular lens placement procedure in both eyes, less than 15 minutes, without pain thanks to Dr Cuenca ... At last I see clear day and night, near and far.
